About Us

The International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) is a global leader in scientific research on gambling disorder and responsible gambling. Founded in 1996 as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the ICRG’s mission is to help individuals and families affected by gambling disorder by supporting the finest peer-reviewed, scientific research on gambling disorder and responsible gambling; encouraging and developing tools to facilitate the application of new research to improve prevention, diagnostic, intervention and treatment strategies; and advancing public education about gambling disorder and responsible gambling.

Under the guidance of the Scientific Advisory Board of independent experts, the ICRG operates a competitive research grants program open to scientists worldwide.

The ICRG also is actively engaged in public education and awareness activities, such as the annual ICRG Conference on Gambling and Addiction, webinars and treatment providers programming. For more information about the ICRG please visit www.icrg.org.
